Peanut Flour – Protein 25%

Peanut is appreciated for two major components, oil and protein. This flour is full fat flour having natural composition. Since the oil is not extracted, the flour contains 52-55 % oil. Peanut oil is one of the best vegetable oils so far as SFA : USFA (Saturated : Unsaturated Fatty Acids) ratio is concerned. The typical peanut is inherent so no need to add artificial flavor of peanut. One-gram fat provide approximately 9 kcal against same quantity of protein and carbohydrates give 4 kcal. This flour is also containing more vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E and vitamin K. The protein content is still pretty high to use it as protein source. This flour is very good for preparation of coarse spreads and traditional sweets. The preparation of this flour demands more sophistication and cost to the product.
